Remembering passwords for a long time can burden others, especially if you have many. You might also have passwords from other platforms, such as your email, social media accounts, online banking, etc.


If you forget your account password, you can easily reset it directly on Proxuma's login page. You can reset a user's password in the Users module if you're an administrator.

🔑Reset password on the login page

Users can reset their passwords by clicking the Forgot Password link. Once they click this link, all instructions will be sent to their email.


For users, here's how to reset a password:


1. From the login page, click Forgot your password.🔑

2. Type your user name and click Send code.📨

3. Users will be receiving this email immediately. Take note of the verification code. 📧

4. Paste the verification code then input your new password.🔑

5. Click Submit.📤

6. Once the new password is set, please perform "Clear cache" on your web browser for ensure smooth experience.

🔒Reset password from the users module

As the administrator of an organization, you can easily manage all accounts under Proxuma's Users module.


To reset a user's password, follow these steps:


1. Go to Users.👤

2. On the search box, type the name of the user.🔍

3. Click View Profile.👤

4. Click the Reset button and hit OK.🔄


The reset instruction to the user's registered email address will be immediately sent.

🛠️Troubleshooting

Sometimes, you might experience some technical difficulties upon resetting your account password. If that happens, here are a few ways how to fix it:

🔄Not receiving verification code

If you're not receiving the verification in your email, check it in your Spam folder.

You can also click the Resend Code link to receive another code to your email.

Expired sessions

The refresh token is valid for 30 days, while the access token is only valid for 60 minutes. If the access token expires, a pop-up will appear with a Refresh button. Clicking the Refresh button will redirect you to the authentication subdomain with your new access token.

🚫User password cannot be reset in the current state
If you receive the message "User password cannot be reset in the current state," contact the organization's admin. They will email you a temporary password to reset your password.

🔁Redirecting Loop

If you encounter a "Redirecting" loop after setting up your new password, please perform "Clear cache" on your web browser.
