Creating a Task Category lets you organize all the tasks you are making in the system. That said, creating different categories for each ticket is always a good practice for easier management. Once you create a new category in Autotask, it will sync its data in Proxuma, providing seamless task creation.

🗂️Creating task categories
To create a task category in Autotask, follow these steps:
1. Hover your mouse over the Main Menu icon.🖱️
2. Then, hover your mouse again to Admin and select Features & Settings.🛠️

3. Expand Projects & Tasks and select Task Categories.📝

4. Click + New.➕
5. Type the name of the Task Category.📝
6. Select a Display Color (optional).🎨
7. Click Save & Close.💾

8. Once the data is synced with Proxuma, you'll see the new category you've added to this list.🔄
